FarAwayVillas - Gulluk, Bodrum, Turkey

Some Previous Guests Typical Comments

The comments below are very typical of all guests who stay in our apartment. Teresa and myself also love visiting as often as possible and never tire of the wonderful apartment, complex, resort or the atmosphere and friendliness.

There are is an almost endless list of activities and great days out, but also of course plenty of opportunity to just chill out!

I just wanted to let you know how lovely we thought your villa was. It was clean and very spacious and what's more it was perfectly placed for the children to enjoy the pool (which was so quiet it was practically ours!). The local people were so incredibly friendly and willing to help as were the couple of English people staying in their own villas who we happened to meet.

Mavi Realty were very efficient ...........anything that required to be considered was sorted in a manner that seems to be the usual cheerfulness of the Turkish people.

It was our first time in Turkey, but we would certainly like to visit again. It is remarkably good value for money and I have been telling everyone I know since coming home!

The apartment is excellent and the holiday, weather and resort were great.
All in all we had a very good time. The staff on site were very helpful and
the transportation to and from the airport was excellent.
A great resort, with very friendly local people who were very good to us.
Your recommendation re the fish restaurant was also spot on.

Thank you to Roger and Teresa, the apartment in Gulluk was really lovely and so spacious. It suited us perfectly with 2 children as the terrace was right next to the pool. Very peaceful and relaxing apartments and hardly ever seemed to be any people around, which made us feel like we had our own private pool most of the time.
The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed as well as plenty of sheets and towels.
Gulluk is a lovely little town, with a picturesque fishing harbour, the town has potential to become more touristy and I hope it doesn't spoil it's charm. One of many little restaurants we found was called Cetin Pide which is opposite the fishing boats, they have chairs and tables on the small beach so you can kick your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes. The food is simple but delicious and cheap.
The road to Bodrum was an easy drive and took us 30 minutes, I'm glad we chose to stay in Gulluk and not actually in Bodrum. Bodrum was a great place to visit but it was nice to return to the slow pace of Gulluk and the apartment at the end of the day.
Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing holiday, the apartment suited all our needs and we shall definitely be re-booking, if not this year, then next.
